Six into three will go!
Client problem
This UK company owns a diverse range of sports, outdoor and fashion brands globally. The firm has achieved huge success through innovation and ambition, and through cultivating next-generation managers to deliver growth in tough economic times.
The previous first-line management training was a high-maintenance programme of three two-day modules: it was expensive and time-consuming, with erratic attendance and a headache for L&D.
Our involvement
Janine Elton reduced six days of training into three lean and dynamic days, retaining the essential teaching within a tighter budget and with limited time. The three-day event has been running successfully since 2008, and supports the client’s need to develop teams and deliver the business.
What we delivered
In both design and delivery, Janine’s contagious energy and creativity matches the client’s. With her wide subject knowledge, she keeps everyone focused, adapting the learning to meet the needs of each group. Janine’s ability to build trust means that everyone is encouraged to step out of comfort zone and step up their next level of competence, in safety.
Results
The exceptional delegate feedback tells us that we’re doing a great job. Courses run with maximum numbers and full attendance throughout. L&D can focus on delivering the 2012 strategy. Feedback from the client tells us that new managers are setting procedures in place and doing the right thing to make the company a happier and sleeker business.
